About this Coffee
This coffee exported by Testi Coffee & processed at the Adnan Washing Station went through high quality control to ensure you get a delicious cup of coffee.
Soaking: First thing, 95% well-ripe, and 5% overripe
cherries were selected. The cherries are immersed in the
water tank to remove the floaters. After removing the
floaters, we allowed the cherries to undergo 4 hours of
soaking in water.
Drying method: The cherries are dried on raised beds. On
each bed, we put 20 kg of cherries with thickness as thin as
possible. The raised beds were placed in locations with more
wind blows and less sunlight. The drying goes slowly for 30
days under the shade net.
Improved Process: 1. Floaters removed by immersing
cherries in water. 2. The beds were installed in spaces
exposed to more wind than extreme sunlight. This helped
the cherries dry slowly and kept the embryo active and
healthy throughout the drying period. Highly regulated
and controlled drying methods protect the beans from
germinating during storage and transportation.
