It's the season from something full of delicious stonefruits. We got this Natural Honduras from the Matazano region that's packed with notes of sticky overripe Plums, some earthy Hazelnuts and a good amount of Caramel to make this sweetie your forever favourite.

We offer three roast styles: espresso roast and our regular filter roast.

Our filter roast is designed for clarity and character but is also highly soluble, making it a great choice for espresso if you’re into more expressive extractions.

If you prefer more classic, rounded espresso profiles, go for our espresso-specific roasts. They’re designed for higher solubility and a deeper, fuller cup.

However when we test the espresso roast and love it as filter, and cannot see the improvements in having a seperate filter roast we call it omni.

Elevation - 1450-1600 MASL

The coffee for this blend was collected on the farms of the Matazano municipality of the La Paz department in southwestern Honduras near the Montecillos Reserve. The native inhabitants - Lenka, call this area "the place of stone" because of the mountainous terrain with thick jungle cover. La Paz has clay loam soils and a temperate climate.
Coffee trees here receive less daylight, so they bear fruit in smaller volumes, but with better quality. Mostly they grow in the shade next to banana palms.

Montecillos has became the fififirst territory in Honduras to receive denomination of origin status: Café de Marcala

From the thousands of coffees grown in Honduras, Montecillo’s was selected in the top 3% as the best of Honduras in 2016 Cup of Excellence.
